My coworker Christina forwarded me this absolutely awesome spam email.

Attached was a photo and résumé!  What is she doing with her arms?!

I like to walk sometimes one alone with myself and to think about the lives. I could not find the happiness in my city and till now is lonely. For myself I have resolved to search for the love in other country. Especially I heard much about that that people from other countries are more romantic and are careful concerning relations with women, so to say they have a spark in eyes! I am ready completely to this step and have bought yours e-mail in International Dating Agency. To me have told that you my friend very good lonely person with kind and open heart. It’s February 16th, and if you didn’t have a Valentine this year, you might be feeling a little sad or lonely.  Don’t worry, it’s not too late.  I’ve been receiving a ton of emails from women around the world who are searching for true love.  This one is from quite a lovely lady.  She is from Russia and her name is Isabella… or maybe it’s Rita…?  She even included a photo of herself.

The second kind of email is much longer.  “Dream Marriage” claims to be a service that that will help you find your true love.

I’m actually a bit shocked by these emails.  It’s horriying how these women are being exploited.  Even if these services are not real, they promote the fetishization and disrespect of young Russian women.

Ultimately, these emails lead you to a website that has provocative photos of these young women, along with their age, height, and weight.  Most are not over 25 years old or over 125 pounds. Some of them are listed as 99 pounds.  It’s all complete with a guide to dating Russian women.  Awful!

Spammers: we are disappointed in you.  Bring back the funny.
